The purpose of this blog is to help translators, interpreters and other professional linguists stay informed about high quality, easily accessible opportunities for professional development. We believe that location should not be a barrier when it comes to accessing excellent training.

About the Team
Lucy Brooks is eCPD's Managing Director. She set up the company after 20 years of running her own translation business.
She was one of the first translators in the world to be granted the prestigious Chartered Linguist status, the UK's highest award for practising translators. This means she knows a thing or two about what it is like to be a translator.
Sarah Dillon is eCPD's Communications Director, which means it is her job to blog, tweet and hang out on Facebook (along with one or two other duties).
In between all that, she is a freelance professional translator who lives in Australia. This means she know a thing or two about needing to access training from afar.
