What makes a successful freelancer? AUSIT weighs in

What does it take to be successful? How can translators and interpreters acquire the skills they need to achieve the highest level of professionalism?

These are the questions that we'll hear our speaker address next Thursday, in our first collaboration with the Australian Institute of Translators and Interpreters (AUSIT).

The speaker is Sam Berner, Immediate Past President of AUSIT, a founding member of the World Arabic Translators' Association (WATA), and a current executive member of the Queensland branch of AUSIT. In the past she has been a writer, publisher, teacher, business woman, mentor, translator and motivational speaker, and is currently the manager of Arabic Communications Experts. Sam has considerable international experience, and has done a lot of work with small businesses in Australia. In this webinar, she will share her knowledge and experience of what she has seen work and not workover her years in business.

We're closing registrations this Thursday 21st April though, so you'll have to get in quick if you want to attend. Remember - you don't have to be a member of AUSIT to attend. See the events page of our website for full details, including the webinar time where you live.
